Same compact 300mm length, same easy-driving light section (1.58 kg/m) — with a Z275 hot-dipped galvanised finish bonding a thick zinc layer to every surface. Hot-dipping in a zinc bath creates a zinc-iron alloy layer that's part of the steel itself — sacrificially protecting the base metal even if it gets scratched. For salt air, persistent moisture, irrigation, or general Australian humidity that wears black pickets out within a year or two, galvanised is the spec. ### Light grade for soft-soil galv applications At 1.58 kg/m it drives easily into garden beds, soft loam, sandy coastal soil, and recently disturbed fill.
